MRS. IDA CRUTE CARLTON

PINETOPS--Mrs. Ida Crute Carlton, 79, widow of T. C. Carlton, died today after a lingering illness.

She was a member of Pinetops Baptist Church, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. The Rev. W. R. Bussey and the Rev. Robert L. Baldridge will officiate. Burial will be in Pinetops Cemetery.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. D H. Cole and Mrs. June Pendergrass, both of Wilson, Miss Lillian Carlton of Raleigh, and Mrs. C. B. Phillips of Fountain, Mrs. E. O. Coleman of Martinsburg, W. Va.; four sons, J. C. and Milton, both of Pinetops, Robert W. of Joppa, Md., and Hilton of Wilson; one sister, Mrs. J. F. Bradley of Halifax, Va.; 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

PINETOPS--Funeral services were held today at 3 p. m. for Mrs. Ida Crute Carlton, 79, who died Wednesday.

The Rev. Robert L. Baldridge and the Rev. W. R. Bussey officiated at Pinetops Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial was in Pinetops cemetery.
