Lester H. Sadler

STOW--Lester H. Sadler, 91, went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 5, 1997 at Traditions Nursing Home after a long illness.

A lifetime resident of Stow, he was born, raised and dairy farmed on his ancestors home farm in Stow where the Goodyear Mold Plant is now located. He was a lifetime member of both the Stow Men's Garden Club and Stow Historical Society. His other memberships include Summit County Century Homes Association, Summit County Bee Association, Northampton Baptist Church, past-president of Summit County Farm Bureau, former member of Stow City Council and was a 4-H advisor. Mr. Sadler had a sense of humor, and a close love and relationship with his nephews and nieces. He loved all children and was highly respected by all.

Preceded in death by wife, Thelma (Stuiber); parents, John and Minnie; sister, Margaret and nephew, Johnny, he is survived by his brother, Herbert (Almina); nephew, Ron (Kathy) Sadler; niece, Pat (Jack) Shuman; five grand-nephews and grandnieces.

Friends may call TODAY 2 to 5 P.M. at Redmon Funeral Home, where Pastor Franklin A. Lorenz will conduct service Monday 11 A.M. Burial Stow Cemetery.
