Claude A. Zimmerman

Claude A. Zimmerman, 62, of 1115 Tilghman St., Allentown, died Monday in Allentown Hospital.

He was the husband of Betty A. (Davies) Zimmerman.

He was a self-employed painter and paperhanger.

Born in Hershey, he was a son of the late Harry and Jennie E. (Clayberger) Zimmerman.

H was a Navy veteran of World War II.

A member of Dubbs Memorial United Church of Christ, Allentown, Zimmerman wan an elder of the church consistory.

Surviving besides his widow are a brother Thomas of Port land, Ore., and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Andrews of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Shirley, wife of Cecil Gist of Portland, Ore.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m Thursday at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Calling hours will be from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
