07-19-1935 Mrs. John Hinks, died at the home of her son, Clifford, at Franklin PQ. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Clegg of Elgin Township, and was born in 1859. She was united in marrieage with John Hinks of Powerscourt PQ, in 1879. Mr. Hinks passed away July 11,1934. She is survived by one son, Clifford, of Franklin, two daughters, Ethel, Mrs. Lewis Percy, of Saranac Lake New York, Christina, Mrs. Harry Dear of Powerscourt, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also two sisters, Mrs. Baird and Mrs. Campbell, and one brother, Alex Clegg, all in the West. Funeral service was held from the United Church at Powerscourt PQ, service conducted by Rev. Wilkinson of Franklin Standard Church, assisted by Rev. J. H. Woodside. Interred in the Cemetery there.
