J. J. CLAYBERGER PASSES AWAY IN PHILADELPHIA
Native of City Expires of Hemorrhage in Hospital.
John J. Clayberger, 54, son of Mrs. Alice Clayberger and the late Edward Clayberger, of this city, died late Monday evening in a Philadelphia hospital from the effects of a severe hemorrhage.
News of the death of Mr. Clayberger came as a shock to his mother and other relatives here, as prior to his sudden illness he had enjoyed excellent health.
John Clayberger was born in this city and reared to early manhood here. He accepted employment in Philadelphia a number of years ago but had made frequent visits to the home of his mother here.
Surviving are his widow and one son, Charles; his mother and the following brothers and sisters: Ralph Clayberger and Mrs. Frank Wynn, Shamokin; Harry, California; Howard, Northumberland and Mrs. Francis Nye, Elysburg.
The funeral will be held from the late home in Philadelphia at 2:00 Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in that city.
