OSGOOD, Timothy John

Timothy John Osgood, Sr., 62 of Wethersfield, and Charlestown, NH passed away peacefully on Monday, (October 31, 2011) at VA Hospital in Rocky Hill. Tim was born in Brattleboro, VT on August 28, 1949. He is survived by his mother Melba D. Osgood; and his children Timothy J. Osgood, Jr., (T.J.) and his wife Sandie of Wethersfield, Jeramy and Jessica Osgood of Newport, RI; a brother, Robert Osgood, sisters Mary Indermaur and husband James, Kathi Latulippe and husband Keith, Kelli Ely and husband Mark, all of Wethersfield; grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey and Dylan Osgood of Wethersfield; nieces and nephews, Spencer and Connor Indermaur, Shawn, Meaghan, Trey, Keane and Griffin Latulippe, Kendall and Kyle Ely all of Wethersfield. His wife Joann Grillo Osgood and his father Wayland P. Osgood predeceased him. Tim was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed watching the U-CONN women's basketball. He was a graduate of Wethersfield High School and immediately joined the Navy. He was awarded numerous medals and citations for his loyal 25 years of service. Vietnam was one of his tours of duty.

A private Military service will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at the Village Cemetery in Old Wethersfield. As Tim would say "if by chance you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs it".
