Samuel E. Buss, 85
SUNBURY - Samuel E. Buss, 85, of Sunbury RD3 died Tuesday evening at Sunbury Community Hospital. He had been in ill health for the past few years, and was last admitted to the hospital on Saturday.
Born in Milton, Dec. 31, 1903, he was a son of the late Edward and Florence (Campbell) Buss. He was married in 1932 to the former Violet De-witt.
Mr. Buss was a farmer and lived in the Sunbury RD3 area most of his life. He was educated in the Milton and Fisher's Ferry schools, and was a member of the Augusta Baptist Church, Sunbury RD3.
In addition to his wife of Sunbury, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Florence Heim of Rebuck; one stepson, Walter Clayberger of Sunbury RD3; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A private funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Robert Foust Funeral Home, Trevorton, by the Rev. Scott Anderson. Burial will be in Augusta Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunbury RD3.
At the request of the family there will be no viewing.
Contributions may be made to the Augusta Baptist Church, Sunbury RD3, in his memory.
