MRS. GEORGE E. DAMUTH.
Mrs. Anna Damuth, 55, wife of George E. Damuth, 458 Tuscarawas street, died Sunday in Bethesda hospital, Zanesville, where she had been a patient the past five weeks. Mrs. Damuth had been ill three months.
She had been a resident of Newark two years, coming here from Zanesville, where she was born July 17, 1882, the daughter of Dallas Phelps. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Misses Ruth and Helen of the home; one brother, Morgan Phelps, of Zanesville.
The body was taken to the home of her niece, Mrs. Florence Oswald, 727 Nancy avenue, Zanesville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. in St. Luke's Lutheran church in Zanesville and burial will be made in Woodlawn cemetery.

Former Resident Dies in This City
Mrs. Anna Damuth, Newark, Succumbs
Mrs. Anna Damuth, 68, former resident of this city, died Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at Bethesda hospital following three months illness of complications. She has been living In Newark for the past two years.
Mrs. Damuth was a member of the St. Luke's church in this city and was well known here.
The deceased la survived by her husband, George E. Damuth, and two daughters, Ruth snd Helen Damuth, all of the home, and one brother, Morgan Phelps, this city, and a niece, Mrs. Florence Oswald, also of this city.
The body will be removed to the home of the niece, Mrs. Oswald, 121 Nancy avenue, Monday afternoon from the Dean funeral home.
