Mrs. Sarah Clayberger
Stonington
Mrs. Sarah Ida Clayberger, 77, Stonington, Paxinos R.D. 1, whose husband, Ralph H. Clayberger, died less than two months ago, and whose grandson, Earl, was burned to death in a fire which followed an automobile collision on June 28, near Catawissa, died yesterday in Sunbury Community Hospital.
Death of Mrs. Clayberger followed by three weeks her admission to the hospital. Death of her husband on May 30 severed a marital union of 56 years.
A native of Shamokin, Mrs. Clayberger was born September a daughter of the late William O. and Harriet S. (Persing) Yost. She was a member of the Stonington Fire Company Auxiliary.
Surviving are one son, Joseph Clayberger, Stonington; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Chamberlain, Stonington; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two brothers, Harry and Edward Yost, both of Shamokin.

Ralph Clayberqer
Stonington R.D. 1
Ralph H. Clayberger, 81, Stonington, Paxinos R.D. 1, died last night at 5:35 in Sunbury Community Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital last Friday.
Mr. Clayberger was born in Shamokin April 24. 1887, son of the late Edward and Alice Pressler Clayberger. He spent most of his life in Shamokin and moved to Stonington 16 years ago.
The former resident retired in 1953 from the Roaring Creek Water Company where he was employed for 38 years. He was a member of the Stonington Volunteer Fire Company. Mr. Clayberger was married April 17, 1912, to the former Sara Yost. His death breaks a marital union of 56 years.
Survivors include the widow, one son, Joseph of Stonington; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Chamberlain, also of Stonington; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
