Final Rites Held For D. H. Cole, 50
PINETOPS, Aug. 7--Funeral services for Daniel Hugh Cole, 50. who died suddenly Saturday, were held from his home here Sunday afternoon.
Formerly with the National Oil Company of Wilson, at the time of his death Cole was a partner in the Edgecombe Oil Company. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Tarboro Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lucille Carlton: four children. Hugh, Jr., Ann, Jean and Bcbby Cole, all of the home; four brothers, E. E. and C. C. Cole of Sanford; Clarence Cole of Woodleaf, and K. W. Cole of Sanford; five sisters, Mrs. A. A. Palmer of Jonesboro; Miss Mary Cole and Mrs. Tom Poe of Sanford; Mrs. R. R. Faircloth of Charlotte, and Mrs. Willis Owens of Arlington.
