JOSEPHINE WEINHEIMER IS BRIDE OF ALBERT SCHIEDEL
On Saturday, Oct. 31, 1959, at 7 p.m., The First Church of Evans was the setting for a beautiful candlelight service when Miss Josephine Weinheimer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester G. Weinheimer of Derby, became the bride of Albert Schiedel, son of Mrs. Edward Schiedel of Eden, and the late Mr. Schiedel.
The ceremony was performed by Dr. Earle W. Gates and the Rev. Philip Rusten, brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin. Her elbow-length veil of illusion was held by a tiara of orange blossoms, and centered with white roses.
The made of honor, Miss Joyce Weinheimer, sister of the bridge, and the bridesmaids, Mrs. Emerson Schiedel and Miss Joyce Senior, wore royal blue taffeta dresses. Their bouquets were moon shaped of white and pink carnations.
Emerson Schiedel was his brother's best man, and the ushers were Joseph Crotty and Harold Agate. Ellen Rusten was the flower girl, and Alex Hedges carried the rings.
The mother of the bride wore a pink lace dress with brocade accessories. The groom's mother wore a medium blue dress with navy accessories. Their corsages were pink rosebuds and white carnations.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the North Evans Fire Hall. A buffet supper was served to about 200 guests.
Following a short trip, the bride and groom now reside at 6 Mill St., Angola.
