TETER, H. Keith 62 of Palos Verdes died peacefully of cancer on February 18, 1994. Mr. Teter was a recognized industrial designer and educator who has been a resident of Palos Verdes for 25 years. Mr. Teter attended General Motors Institute where he studied automotive engineering he served in the U.S. Army in Germany then attended the Art Center College of Design on a Ford scholarship and received an Honors Degree in Industrial Design. In 1957 he joined the design staff of Ford Motor Company. As a executive he was responsible for styling some of Fords most popular vehicles, show cars, and Philco products and was personally choosen by Henry Ford II to redesign his executive office and conference room complex. In 1969 Mr. Teter was hired as chairman of the Industrial Design Department and taught transporation design at Art Center College of Design. He also worked as an automotive design consultant for Nissan and Mitsubishi. He is survived by his wife Barbara his children Jennifer Teter-Mitchell, Susan Lauman, David Teter, Rebecca Cloward and Katherine Falcon-6 grandchildren and two brothers. Private services were held on March 6, 1994

Barbara Brown Repeats Vows With Keith Teter
Rev. Ben Lewis officiated at ceremonies which united in marriage his niece, C. Barbara Brown, and Keith H. Teter.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Brown of Van Nuys, the new Mrs. Teter is an alumnus of Van Nuys High School and has attended Los Angeles Art Center. Attending Art Center on a Ford scholarship, the bridegroom graduated from General Motors Institute. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd S. Teter Sr., reside in Eklins, W. Va.
For nuptuals and a reception held at the Little Church of Sherman Oaks, Miss Brown wore a formal gown of Chantilly lace over satin. Her tiered skirt of lace and net ruffles fell into a chapel sweep and she carried stephanotis with white roses and an orchid.
Colleen Hendricks and James Powers served as honor attendants. Also in the entourage were Sue Wittenberg, Pat Clarkson, bridesmaids; Christian Brown, sister of the bride, flower girl, and Stuart Denger and George McLean, ushers.
The newlyweds honeymooned in San Francisco, Carmel and Monterey. they will establish their home in Los Angeles.
