Crash victim suffered attack?

RAVENNA - An 81-year-old Diamond woman apparently suffered a heart attack Friday while driving on Ohio 14 and her car crashed into a tree, according to Ohio Highway Patrol.

Edna I. Wiley, of 3575 Wayland Rd. was dead on arrival at Robinson Memorial Hospital shortly after the 3 p.m. accident.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna J. Wiley, 81, of 3575 Wayland road, Diamond, Ohio, were held Aug. 17 at Ravenna Assembly of God Church where she was a member. Burial was in Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown.

Mrs. Wiley was dead on arrival at Robinson Memorial Hospital Friday, Aug. 13, after suffering a heart attack while driving her automobile.

Surviving are three sons, Clarence Phelps of Palymra Township, Walter Phelps of Ravenna and Charles Phelps of Rottstown; a sister, Mrs. Mary King of 560-E Shinnick circle; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
