Church Funeral For Mrs. Bowers Saturday Morning

Lifelong Resident of This City Succumbs at the Home of Daughter

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bowers, 66, widow of James Bowers, who died Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas H. Oswald, of 21 East Virginia street, will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning from St. Nicholas Catholic church and burial will be made in Woodlawn cemetery.

Death followed a six weeks' illness. The deceased was a lifelong resident of this city and was a member of St. Nicholas church. Surviving are two sons, Arthur, of Akron; Ulysses of this city; one daughter, Mrs. Oswald at the home; one brother, Morgan Phelps, city; one sister, Mrs. Anna Damuth and three grandchildren.

The body will remain at the Keck funeral home until time for the last rites.
