Violet E. Buss, 90, Sunbury RD3

SUNBURY - Violet E. Buss, 90, of Sunbury RD3 died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 1992, at Sunbury Community Hospital. She had been in ill health for the past 15 years and last entered the hospital on Monday.

Born Aug. 26, 1901, in Lower Augusta Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Hannah Radel Dewitt. She was married to Samuel E. Buss, who died in 1989.

She was a lifetime resident of Lower Augusta Township.

Mrs. Buss was educated in Lower Augusta Township schools.

She was a member of Augusta Baptist Church and Ladies Aide Society of the church.

She is survived by one daughter, Florence Heim of Rebuck; ond son, Walter Clayberger of Sunbury RD3; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Catherine Hoover of Sunbury.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Augusta Baptist Church, Sunbury RD3, by the Rev. Don Maurer. Burial will be in Augusta Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitors may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church.

Contributions in her memory may be made to Augusta Baptist Church, Box 129A RD3 Sunbury 17801.
