CIVIL WAR VETERAN DIES OF PARALYSIS

Funeral services for Dallas T. Phelps, aged 84, a veteran of the Civil war, who died at 4:45 o'clock Monday morning following a stroke of paralysis sustained at 9 o'clock Sunday evening, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Dean Funeral Home, with Rev. Kahoe of the Moxahala Avenue M. E. church officiating, and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

He died at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Anna Damuth, 210 1/2 Main street. Mr. Phelps was well known in this city, where he had resided for a number of years. Besides the daughter at whose home he died, he is survived by three other children as follows: Mrs. Mary Bowers and Morgan Phelps, both of this city, and Elmer Phelps of Cumberland, Ohio. His wife died about three years ago.
