Saum, 71, of 211 North Lee Street, widow of Russell E. Saum, died yesterday morning at Allegany County Infirmary. She had been in ill health the past three months and a patient the past month. Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late George and Wilhelmina Stuiber. Mrs. Saum was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are two sons, George D. Saum, at home, and Albert R. Saum, Fort Lewis, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Wilhelmina McRae, also of this city; a brother, George A. Stuiber, also of Cumberland; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Burkhart, Keyser; Mrs. Annie Cook, Cumberland, and Mrs. Nettie Groening, Pittsburgh, three grandchildren, and a great grandchild. The body will remain at the Kight Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a. m. with Rev. Dr. Hixon T. Bowersox, pastor of St. Paul's Church, officiating.
