07-11-1934 John Hinks, husband of Dorothea Craig, died at Franklin Center PQ, aged 87 years. Interred at Powerscourt PQ. The service was conducted Friday afternoon at the Standard Church at Powerscourt of which he was a member, Bishop Monahan from Toronto Ont. and Rev. Crawford from Malone New York had charged of the service. He was born and lived all his life until about a year ago when he moved with his son to Franklin. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Dorothea, one son, Clifford of Franklin, and two daughters, Mrs. Harry Dear of PowerscourtPQ, and Mrs. Lewis Percy of Burke New York. A number of grandchildren, also one sister, Mrs. Persons of Vermont and one brother, Peter of Chateauguay New York.
