Bride Wears Satin Gown
Marriage vows were exchanged by Sharon Lynn Puleo and John Vincent Sipowicz the afternoon of October 11 in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Athol Springs. Rev. Victor Maksimowicz performed the double ring ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casimir J. Puleo of Hamburg and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Sipowicz of South Glens Falls.
The bride's satin gown, trimmed with Alencon lace and seed pearls, had a high collar on an illusion yoke, leg-of-mutton sleeves and cathedral train. A halo of pearls held her cathedral length tiered veil and she carried a cascade of sweetheart roses, carnations and stephanotis.
Patricia B. Puleo. sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Christopher Spencer of Peabody, Massachusetts, sister of the bridegroom and Susan Comiskey of South Glens Falls, cousin of the bridegroom. They wore teal blue satin gowns and matching head pieces of pearls and flowers and carried cascades of summer flowers.
James Sipowicz, brother of the bridegroom, was bestman. Ushers were Christopher Spencer of Peabody and Edward Caples of Albany.
After a reception at the Regency Motor Hotel in Blasdell, the couple left for a honeymoon trip to Hawaii. They are at home in Rochester where they are both pharmacists for Fay's Drug Company.
